New builds, re-builds and renovations require pre-commission cleaning
Newly installed water systems will most likely be contaminated with debris left over from the installation process. Unless these contaminants are removed the system will not operate at optimum efficiency, using more energy and ultimately costing you more money to run.
- Reduce energy running costs buy optimising efficiency
- Increase system lifetime by reducing the load
- System balancing to ensure water system is operating correctly

Pre-Commission Cleaning ensures optimal performance and efficiency for your water system.
Flushing & Cleaning
Industry guidelines state that all operational water systems need to remain bacteria free. If your system has been out of use the standing water will have stagnated resulting in a rise in levels of bacteria which poses health risks and can result in build ups causing blockages reducing the systems efficiency.
Our flushing service will ensure your water system operate effectively with no risk of contamination.
Water System Balancing
Before a system is commissioned we strongly recommend the system is balanced to ensure the accurate distribution of water throughout the system.
Without system balancing the flow rates required for efficient heat transfer across the various components may be incorrect resulting in loss of energy – which ultimately leads to inflated running costs.
Reduce long term running costs by increasing efficiency
Pre-commission cleaning will reduce the long term running cost of a water system by removing any foreign debris and contaminants, allowing the individual components of the system to operate at optimal levels – ultimately requiring less energy to perform the same task of heating/chilling and moving water through the system.
Maximise your water system’s lifespan, reduce wear and tear and prevent breakdown
Save on utilities bills by operating the system at optimal efficiency and using less energy
Preventative maintenance reduces the risk of failure and decommission.
Conventional System Flushing
During a system flushing the whole system will be drained prior to cleaning. To correctly flush the system we will assess the system as a whole. We will then advise the flushing process and this may affect any connected systems.
Once the system has been flushed we make sure any of the chemicals used during the cleaning process has been removed. Our system balancing service also ensures the system runs as desired when commissioned.
- System assessment prior to flushing
- Advise best, most efficient flushing practice
- Removal of any cleaning chemicals used during the process
- Recommended system balancing service prior to recommission.
Chemical Cleaning
Chemical cleaning uses chemical inhibitors, biocides and a filtration acids. Chemical cleaning is a more powerful method of cleaning and potentially uses a lot less water than conventional flushing. Chemical cleaning is suited to certain systems where conventional flushing would not be efficient (eg carbon steel systems).
- More powerful method of system Pre-Commission Cleaning
- Uses less water than conventional flushing
- Suitable for carbon steel systems
